For our second edition, we are highlighting a very special client who brings a whole lot of personality, and a whole lot of fur, into the salon. Meet Harvey, Marilynn's gorgeous, majestic Chow Chow!

The Double-Coat Challenge

If you look at Harvey in the photo above, you can see just how magnificent his coat is. But keeping a heavy, double-coated breed looking this good takes some serious work. Dogs like Harvey have a dense undercoat designed to insulate them, which requires specialized de-shedding tools, expert techniques, and a lot of patience to prevent painful matting.

The Bougie Treatment

In Wednesday's session, Desiree gave Harvey the ultimate spa day. Using our professional de-shedding process, she carefully worked through his thick coat to pull out the trapped, loose fur without damaging his beautiful top layer.

After a deep-cleaning bath, a precision blowout, and some careful scissor-work to round out his signature fluffy features, Harvey was left feeling significantly lighter and looking like an absolute superstar under the ring lights.
